"Just like to say thank you for Sunday's ride. Before setting off I was disappointed about the 100M being canceled but after an hour of riding realised that it was definitely the right decision. "Just to say as a survivor of the 2009 event that I wanted to register my thanks to the organisers for putting on such a superb event in almost impossible conditions. The organisation of the event was excellent compared to others I have done and the facilities at Somerwest World were a real bonus bearing in mind the weather. The route was excellent apart from the small 'loop to nowhere' that came after Wheddon Cross which felt like an add on and didn't do justice to the rest of it. Other than that I really enjoyed it. "I just wanted to thank you and your team for an absolutely excellent event this Sunday. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it - thank you for going ahead despite the naff weather and understanding that people sign up for the event precisely because it is challenging (the clue's in the name I guess). Please pass on my thanks to single every marshal, volunteer, first aider and organiser who gave up their Saturday and/or Sunday to help: they were unfailing cheerful and helpful, and it's hugely appreciated. "Just a quick note to congratulate you and your team on a fantastic event today. It really was a classic and faultless in every way. From the check in to the results, everything was slick and professional. I particularly liked the finish procedure - very original and Marcus like. Furthermore, in a sick way I feel the weather added to the challenge! I think there will be a lot of people tonight feeling very tired and chuffed with themselves (me included).
